In recent years, Thai Nguyen has seen a significan enhancement in the field of industry and services especially in the central area. However, doe to numerous reasons, the development in industry, urbanization, mining, etc, has influenced significantly to the purity of the surrounding, particularly, the water.

The decline in the quality of water wil eventually reduce other natural resources. This is currently affecting the daily routine of the residents, the socio-economic advancement in Thai Nguyen

Until visiting Cau river flowing Hoang Van Thu paper stock company, we just can understand thoroughly sufferings of local residents. Stagnant sewage in drains released into lake and smells fetid whenever it is scorching. The polluted situation impacts seriously on health and daily activities of inhabitants who live in and around the company.

In recent years, the economy of our country has been strengthened and developed towards industrialization and modernization. Along with this is the rapid growth of population and urbanization process. This has a positive influence on the development of socio-economy, however, this process also causes considerable pressures on environmental resources in Vietnam. The problems of land, water and air pollution ... has been becoming a great challenge. In which, water pollution, especially pollution in industrial zones, urban areas and factories... is currently one of the frustrating problems.
